Job Description:
Roxiticus seeks an assistant for their golf operations department.
This person will work closely with the Director of Outside Operations and the Professional Golf Staff.
He/she will be expected to work holidays and weekends throughout the duration of the season, which typically runs from April through November.
Hours included, but not limited to covering the morning or closing shifts.
He/she will help manage the outside operations staff to ensure a high quality of customer service is provided.
In addition, he/she will help assist with the daily play of the membership, club tournaments, leagues and outside outings.
Communicate daily with the Director of Outside Operations and the Professional Golf Staff about daily events and operations.
Work closely with the Director of Outside Operations and help assist in overseeing the outside staff throughout their shifts.
Assist with daily billing of rounds and golf cart usage.
Ensure golf carts are sanitized, clean, properly prepared with a towel, full sand bottle, stocked cooler, pencil, scorecard, and tees.
Greet members and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Set up members and their guest golf bags for daily, tournaments and league play.
Assist in putting away members' golf bags in the proper storage location and in a timely fashion.
Assist in monitoring pace of play and member play on the golf course.
Assist the staff in cleaning all member and guest golf clubs after their round.
Keep practice facilities clean and stocked with clean golf balls.
Golf Operation Facilities include:
Golf cart staging area.
